My name is Dr Sarfaraz Javed, I was working in Mazoon College, Oman affiliated to Perdue University, USA and MST University USA. I have been a teacher here since 2018 before that I was working in India Since from the completion of my PhD. I am Indian national working in Sultanate of Oman.
I believe that My About four years academics experience along with three years of handling non-academics positions, More than 25 in international and well recognised Research publications with having 30 citations secured Google H-Index 3, 6 conferences and about more than 25 local & national workshop of a different topic, prepare me to be an effective teacher, researcher and instructor in your department. Currently, I am working on two Funded Projects funded by The Research Centre (TRC), Oman for the year of 2018-2020 and 2019-2021. The total Sponsored fund for these projects is Awarded as 9,900 Omani Rial (About 26,000 USD). Two projects are submitted for approval for the year 2020-2022- Total proposed budget About 28,000 OMR.
Along with my academic’s careers, I believe that extracurricular activities also play a significant role to improve the personality, behaviour and open the sense of learning as well. Presently, I was also mentoring the entrepreneurship Club in Mazoon College, along with my academic’s duties and responsibilities. I have organised workshops here is Mazoon College and serve the community as well through the various activities performed for community services.
As a teacher is to motivate my
students to improve their learning interests and critical thinking—to create a
learner-centred environment in the classroom. Mainly taught a wide range of
courses—from the first-year graduate to final years master’s Students studying
in finance and accounting Specialisation—during my professional experience has
made me conscious of the needs and interests of Business, organisation, finance
and ethnically assorted student.
My doctoral thesis focused on the use of a
relatively new research methodology for testing and developing the parsimonious
organisational learning model. In my research, I have developed a Structure
Model of organisation learning using Advance Structural Equation Modeling
Technique.
Although my thesis focuses on
organisational emerging subject: Entitled “Impact of organisational learning on
the effectiveness of organisation with special reference to Bharat Sanchar
Nigam Limited (BSNL)”.Other areas like International business finance,
Economics development and growth, Corporate finance and Financial Accounting,
Managerial Accounting, cost accounting, public finance and related are also
interested me for my future research stem from my goal of developing improved
analytical models.
